Skimming plasterer — Porter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Porter County, Indiana. You will work in an occupied house during renovation. The role involves set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
