Glass and glazing technician — Colbert County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Colbert County, Alabama. The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
