Pressman — Afikpo South

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Afikpo South, Ebonyi State. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
