Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Floyd County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
