Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time, day shift.
