Nursery worker • Carroll County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a nursery worker in Carroll County, Mississippi. You will work at a private estate garden. You will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
