Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
