Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Carroll County, Virginia. The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
