Site carpenter — Larue County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Larue County, Kentucky. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
