Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Merrick County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. You will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
