Urgent requirement: we are hiring a JCB operator in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging 3+ years on the tools preferred.
