Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Spencer County, Indiana. You will be based at a private estate garden. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day to day you will cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads.
