Gantry crane operator • Hoke County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Hoke County, North Carolina. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
