Dumper truck operator wanted in Day County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Day County, South Dakota. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. Day to day you will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
