Overlocker operator wanted in Gallatin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Gallatin County, Illinois. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
