Join our team: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work at a busy tyre bay. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Day-to-day duties: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits.
