Vacancy available: press shop operator (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
