Turning centre operator wanted in Powhatan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Powhatan County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 6+ years on the tools preferred.
