Garment machinist • Harding County, South Dakota

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Harding County, South Dakota. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
