Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass cutter in North East Lincolnshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience.
