Now hiring: mason's helper (Oklahoma)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mason's helper in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a commercial building project. You will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Part-time with flexible hours.
