Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Howard County, Missouri. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
