Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Lincoln County, Maine. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
