We are recruiting: fabrication workshop technician (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Carroll County, Kentucky. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. On a typical shift you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Requirements: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
