Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
