Sheet metal welder — Richmond County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
