Brickwork mason wanted in Roosevelt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. You will be based on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
