Urgent requirement: air conditioning service engineer (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Richmond County, New York. The job is on new-build apartment projects. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
