Horticulturist wanted in Mitchell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Mitchell County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
