Injection moulding machine operator — City of Chesapeake

Join our team: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands Day-to-day duties: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
