Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Prince George's County, Maryland. The job is at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
