Aluminium TIG welder • Orange County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Orange County, Texas. The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Rotating shifts.
