Presser wanted in Brown County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Brown County, Nebraska. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
