Gas installation technician • Richmond County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Richmond County, New York. On a typical shift you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion We offer $16 per hour plus benefits.
