Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Luce County, Michigan. The job is at a shopfitting company. On the job you will handle: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
