Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Marion County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
