Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Crane County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
