Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Southampton

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Southampton, England. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
