Immediate opening: safety officer (Oregon)

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Klamath County, Oregon. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 3+ years on the tools preferred.
