Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Yamhill County, Oregon. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
