Sewing machine operator wanted in Borough of Bolton

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Borough of Bolton, England. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
