Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar waiter in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a coffee shop. You will polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; check back during the meal and handle special requests; clear and reset tables between covers; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes. You should have: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change 6+ years on the tools preferred.
