Wood machinist — Lauderdale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy construction site. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Day to day you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $7,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
