Immediate opening: refrigeration and AC mechanic (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Alpine County, California. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On the job you will handle: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Rotating shifts.
