Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Able to cut glass accurately to size The role involves: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Six days a week, one day off.
