Natural gas fitter • Anderson County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Anderson County, Kentucky. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
