Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Herefordshire, England. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
