Production welder wanted in Galveston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Galveston County, Texas. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
