Elevator repair technician wanted in Sumter County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Sumter County, Georgia. You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways 5+ years on the tools preferred.
