Cnc lathe setter — Wapello County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Wapello County, Iowa. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
